The highly advanced Simrad RA85 Color flatscreen Radar comes in both non IMO and IMO approved versions. This “Black Box” system offers powerful functionality, choice and ease of installation.
The RA80/90 series uses a 17 inch Simrad CF monitor and a 19 inch is used in the RA90 series. Dual Station functionality is catered for
using a combination of monitors and operator stations running from single scanner input.
RA80 series
The RA83P uses a 6 kW scanner offering a 64nm range whilst the
RA84P comes with the 12 kW scanner, which has a range of 72nm.
The RA85P utilizes the powerful 25 kW scanner for a maximum range
of 96 nm. All scanners have 24rpm rotation. The Simrad RA80 series is offered with 17” screens.
